New Year, New Vibe. Traffic up by over 9000%

eCommerce Website Design

Monday rolls around again and we’re now into our second full week back this year, Happy New Year.

It was a solid end to 2019, I picked up an interesting new client in December and with a little creativity and knowledge the results are already coming in for them.

The client is a small online fashion brand looking to make a big impact in the activewear online sales arena. They are up against some of the biggest brands on the planet.

The brand was getting zero online traffic and very poor sales. The thought process was to step into the buyers shoes, what would attract me and what would put me off buying from a company online. With eCommerce the main factors are; does the site look trustworthy, do they sell the product I need, is the product at the right price, how long will it take to receive the item and if it isn’t what I needed, can I send it back without hassle. The website was WordPress so it needed an up to date theme with some new eCommerce plugins to attract new sales and target missed cart opportunities. The client logo was tidied up. The next goal was to introduce some organic keywords and search optimisation.

From experience I knew that to get out in front of the right people would require a social campaign. I set up some advertising on Facebook and took over their Instagram posting.

The results from this speak for themselves.

Sessions up by 5558%

Pageviews up by 9297%

Bounce Rate 47.85% down 26%

And importantly sales are up by a massive 1707%

New Dance School Website & Local SEO Campaign

New website for dance school

A brand new website for an established Academy of Performing Arts. The goal was to attract new customers with a vibrant design whilst making the website friendly for parents and children.

There wasn’t too much to go on as the old website was created using an online website creation tool, it didn’t work very well on mobiles and had become difficult to update.

I created a website using WordPress, this allows the customer to edit any content without having to know any coding skills. It also allows the flexibility to expand in the future without having to start from scratch.

Once website was created, the customer put it out to their dance parents and students and received nothing but positive feedback.

Since launching the site, web traffic has increased by 1049% with an increase of 80% viewing from their mobile devices.

The mission going forward is to increase local search for specific keywords to improve overall Google rankings.
